Atlanta, GA – Serious Truck Accident Leads to Injuries in NB Lanes of I-75
Atlanta, GA (April 26, 2021) – At 12:54 p.m. on Monday afternoon, April 26, a serious truck accident with injuries took place in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Windy Hill Road. A tractor-trailer and a pickup truck collided with one another for reasons that are not yet known. The pickup truck sustained severe front-end damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked for some time, which led to delays in the area. Police urged those traveling through to use Highway 41.
The investigation into the collision continues at this time.
