Atlanta, GA – Serious Injuries Caused By Car Crash on I-285 at Bolton Rd
Atlanta, GA (May 9, 2021) – Around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, a car accident took place on a highway in Atlanta, causing injuries to at least two victims.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Bolton Road. Few details have been released regarding the circumstances of the crash but it is believed that multiple vehicles collided in the area. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those traveling through to use James Jackson Parkway as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
