Atlanta, GA – Serious Car Accident in NB Lanes of I-75 Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (July 25, 2021) – At 3:23 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, July 25, a serious car accident with injuries took place in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of I-20. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. A white pickup truck involved in the accident was extensively damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more people were pulled from the pickup truck and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in three right lanes for a period of time, which led to extensive delays. Police urged those in the area to use alternate routes for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
