Atlanta, GA – Rollover Truck Accident with Injuries in WB Lanes of I-20
Atlanta, GA (December 20, 2021) – At 3:53 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, December 20, a rollover truck accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Langhorn Street. A truck was traveling in the area when it collided with one or more passenger vehicles. The truck immediately rolled over as a result. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
All lanes of traffic were blocked for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
