Atlanta, GA – Rollover Crash with Injuries in WB Lanes of I-285
Atlanta, GA (August 27, 2021) – At 10:37 a.m. on the morning of Friday, August 27, a rollover crash with injuries took place in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided, causing one of the vehicles to forcefully overturn. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time, which led to extensive delays until the scene was cleared.
