Atlanta, GA – Rollover Collision with Injuries in NB Lanes of I-285
Atlanta, GA (July 1, 2021) – At 1:44 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, July 1, a rollover collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Cascade Road. Two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area, which caused one vehicle to roll over. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in two left lanes until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
