Atlanta, GA – Rollover Accident with Injuries on I-20 Near MLK Jr Dr
Atlanta, GA (January 10, 2023) – Around 10:52 p.m. on the night of Tuesday, January 10, a rollover accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of MLK Jr. Drive. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other, causing one of the vehicles to overturn. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Several Atlanta responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties were allegedly injured as a result of the accident. The parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals by ambulance. Their current conditions are not yet known.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area of the accident for some time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible so traffic could return to normal.
