Atlanta, GA – Rollover Accident with Injuries in EB Lanes of I-285
Atlanta, GA (August 1, 2021) – At noon on Sunday, August 1, a rollover accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of I-85. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to unknown reasons. One of the involved vehicles immediately rolled over, which caused extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured but their conditions are not yet known. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
