Atlanta, GA – Rollover Accident on I-20 Near Glenwood Ave Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (October 19, 2021) – At 4:56 a.m. on the morning of Monday, October 18, a rollover accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to DeKalb County Police officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Glenwood Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided with each other on the highway, causing one of the vehicles to forcefully roll over. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
