Atlanta, GA – Rollover Accident Leads to Injuries in NB Lanes of I-85
Atlanta, GA (April 15, 2021) – Before 6 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, April 15, a rollover accident occurred on a roadway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Cleveland Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to unknown reasons, causing one of the vehicles to roll over. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those traveling through the area to use I-75 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
