Atlanta, GA – Pedestrian Crash Reported at Peachtree St SW & Memorial Dr SW Ends in Injuries
Atlanta, GA (December 26, 2022) – A pedestrian accident took place on Thursday in the downtown Atlanta area that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
On December 22, officers with the Atlanta Police Department responded to the scene of a traffic accident that occurred on Peachtree Street Southwest.
According to law enforcement, a pedestrian was traveling in the area of Peachtree Street Southwest and Memorial Drive Southwest at around 1:20 p.m. The pedestrian, an adult male, was struck by a vehicle in the area for unknown reasons.
The pedestrian suffered significant injuries due to the accident. Authorities located the man with a fractured leg and bleeding from his head. The victim was provided treatment at the scene and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
The Atlanta Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
