Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia
Pedestrians are some of the most at-risk parties on our roads, which means that they are prone to some of the most extensive harm in the event of an accident. Hundreds of pedestrians lose their lives every single year in Georgia due to the recklessness of others. In just 2018 alone, approximately 260 pedestrians were killed in fatal pedestrian accidents due to the negligence of others. Many more are injured every year. The truth is, these accidents can be prevented but continue to happen due to the recklessness of drivers who are not paying close attention to the roads around them. If you have been seriously injured in a pedestrian accident, you may be feeling alone and confused. Those who have suffered from injuries are urged to seek the help of an attorney that they can trust.
Nobody is ever fully prepared to face the aftermath of a pedestrian accident on their own. These accidents tend to lead to some of the most severe injuries such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, broken bones, and more. These injuries tend to land victims in the hospital and cause them to miss out on time in the workplace. If your life has been turned upside-down due to a pedestrian accident, you should seek the help of a Georgia personal injury attorney who has your best interests in mind.
