Atlanta, GA – Pedestrian Accident at Flat Shoals Ave & Glenwood Ave
Atlanta, GA (July 5, 2021) – At 7:51 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, July 4, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Flat Shoals Avenue and Glenwood Avenue. A pedestrian was walking in the area when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle traveling in the area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was seriously injured and rushed to a local hospital.
The area was blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
