Atlanta, GA – One Killed in Fatal Car Accident on Martin Luther King Jr Dr
Atlanta, GA (June 28, 2021) – At 6:43 p.m. on Sunday evening, June 27, a fatal car accident occurred on a roadway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police Department officials, the accident happened at 1977 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. A 2010 Infiniti G37 was traveling in the area when it was suddenly struck by a Buick Enclave. Police confirmed that the driver of the Infiniti did not stop at a stop sign in the area, which contributed to the accident. The Infiniti was then struck by a Chevrolet Trailblazer and the Buick Enclave struck a Honda Insight.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. A male passenger in the Infiniti was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of all involved vehicles reported minor injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
