Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-75 at Peachtree Dunwoody Leaves Victims Hurt
Atlanta, GA (August 30, 2021) – Around 11:00 p.m. on the evening of Monday, August 30, a car accident occurred on a roadway in the Fulton County area, leaving at least one victim injured and causing serious traffic backups in the area.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 at the Peachtree Dunwoody Road northbound exit ramp. Two vehicles collided with each other for reasons that are not yet known. Wreckers were seen in the area removing the vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized, as news footage showed EMS transporting at least one person from the scene via ambulance.
Due to the severity of the accident, two right lanes of the roadway were blocked in the area for some time, and police did not clear the scene until almost 12:30 a.m.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision. Authorities have not released further details regarding those involved in the wreck.
