Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-85 Near Sylvan Rd
Atlanta, GA (January 3, 2022) – Around 11:45 p.m. on the night of Sunday, January 2, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the collision happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Sylvan Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. It is believed that one or more vehicles lost control in the area. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
