Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-285 Near Cascade Rd
Atlanta, GA (July 20, 2021) – At 9:27 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, July 20, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-285 around the area of exit 7, Cascade Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
