Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on GA-401
Atlanta, GA (May 12, 2021) – At 11:22 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, May 12, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries happened in Atlanta.
According to authorities, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-401 around the area of Williams Street. A van and at least one other vehicle collided in the southbound lanes due to reasons that are not fully known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The accident blocked two left lanes of traffic for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
