Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries in EB Lanes of I-20
Atlanta, GA (November 27, 2021) – At 12:31 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, November 27, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 78 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
