Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-85 Near N Druid Hills Rd
Atlanta, GA (June 7, 2021) – At 12:46 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, June 7, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on an Atlanta highway.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of North Druid Hills Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided forcefully due to unknown reasons.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Multiple right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those traveling in the area to use Buford Highway as an alternate route.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
