Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near MLK Jr Dr Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (April 2, 2022) – Around 11:19 p.m. on the night of Saturday, April 2, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of MLK Jr. Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in one or more lanes for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
