Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near I-20 Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (March 20, 2022) – Around 4:54 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, March 20, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 247, I-20. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. One of the vehicles stalled as a result of the collision. Both involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
