Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near Cumberland Blvd
Atlanta, GA (June 15, 2021) – At 2:10 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 15, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Cumberland Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged.
Numerous local responders including paramedics and fire crews were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple center lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 41 until the area was cleared.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
