Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near Lowery Blvd
Atlanta, GA (June 12, 2021) – At 6 p.m. on Friday evening, June 11, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Lowery Boulevard. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of a variety of injuries.
One lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time, which led to extensive delays.
