Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near Lowery Blvd
Atlanta, GA (April 10, 2021) – At 4:34 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, April 9, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta authorities, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Lowery Boulevard. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The right lane of traffic was completely blocked in the area, which led to delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
