Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near Fulton Industrial Blvd
Atlanta, GA (July 19, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 19, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, all lanes were blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 78 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
