Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near Fulton Industrial Blvd
Atlanta, GA (August 28, 2021) – At 3:48 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, August 28, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in two right lanes until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
