Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on GA-400 Near Lenox Rd
Atlanta, GA (July 31, 2021) – At 1:14 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 30, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of exit 2, Lenox Road. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
