Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash in NB Lanes of I-85 Near GA-400
Atlanta, GA (November 1, 2021) – At 5 a.m. on the morning of Monday, November 1, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of exit 87, GA-400. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked. Police issued a travel advisory in the area until the scene was fully cleared.
