Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-75 Near Williams St
Atlanta, GA (July 3, 2021) – At 10:16 p.m. on Friday, July 2, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, a multi-vehicle collision took place in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Williams Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
