Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-285 Near Ashford-Dunwoody Rd
Atlanta, GA (October 24, 2021) – At 12:33 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, October 24, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Ashford-Dunwoody Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
