Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-20 Near Moreland Ave
Atlanta, GA (October 3, 2021) – At 9:55 p.m. on the night of Saturday, October 2, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Moreland Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
