Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on GA-402 Near Hill St
Atlanta, GA (June 27, 2021) – Before midnight on Sunday night, June 27, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of GA-402 around the area of Hill Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are still being investigated. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those traveling through to use Highway 78 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
