Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on GA-400 Near Lenox Rd
Atlanta, GA (August 5, 2021) – At 9:33 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, August 4, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of exit 2, Lenox Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were rushed to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
