Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in WB Lanes of I-20 Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (July 10, 2021) – At 3:43 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, July 10, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Langhorn Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other Atlanta responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Three right lanes of traffic were completely blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
