Atlanta, GA (May 19, 2021) – At 4:49 a.m. on Wednesday morning, May 19, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries took place on a highway in Atlanta.

According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Holmes Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one lost control, colliding forcefully with the others. The vehicles involved were left with extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

The right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
