Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in SB Lanes of I-85 Near I-285
Atlanta, GA (June 27, 2021) – At 10:27 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, June 27, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of I-285. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
