Atlanta, GA (May 12, 2021) – Around 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, May 12, a multi-vehicle accident with injuries took place in Atlanta.

According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75. The accident was deemed a pile-up that took place when several vehicles struck one another in the area. Several vehicles were left with extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.

Due to the severity of the accident, three out of six southbound lanes of traffic were blocked for some time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
