Atlanta, GA – Motorcycle Crash with Injuries in WB Lanes of I-285
Atlanta, GA (October 8, 2021) – At 8:43 a.m. on the morning of Friday, October 8, a motorcycle crash with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Chamblee Dunwoody Road. A motorcyclist was traveling in the area when their vehicle was struck by a passenger vehicle traveling in the area. The motorcycle was left with severe damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims on the motorcycle were injured as a result. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use GA-400 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
