Atlanta, GA – Major Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-75 at Howell Mill Rd
Atlanta, GA (June 18, 2021) – On Friday evening, June 18, authorities assisted at the scene of a multi-car crash that occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
The accident took place around 6:30 p.m. when multiple vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 near the exit ramp to Howell Mill Road.
Law enforcement officials, fire crews, and paramedics were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known. Paramedics did not confirm how many were transported to the hospital.
Due to the severity of the collision, both the HOV lane and all other lanes of traffic on the highway were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. No further details have been provided but the investigation is ongoing.
