Atlanta, GA – Injury Accident Reported on I-285 near Bolton Rd
Atlanta, GA (January 1, 2022) – Authorities in Fulton County were notified that a crash took place early Saturday morning that required assistance. At around 5:30 p.m., on January 1, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Interstate 285.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound lanes of Interstate 285 during the early morning hours. The incident caused delays throughout the area of Bolton Road as crews worked to clear the scene. Police redirected traffic onto interstate 75 as they worked to clear the scene.
At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
