Atlanta, GA – Injury Accident on I-75 Near Moores Mill Rd
Atlanta, GA (December 18, 2021) – At 9:34 a.m. on the morning of Friday, December 17, an injury accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened on I-75 around the area of Moores Mill Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the northbound lanes of traffic when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Northside Drive as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
