Atlanta, GA – Injury Accident in NB Lanes of I-285 Near Paces Ferry Rd
Atlanta, GA (December 16, 2021) – At 7:06 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, December 16, an injury accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Paces Ferry Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in northbound lanes when one or more lost control, causing them to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
