Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Serious Rollover Crash on I-285 Near I-85
Atlanta, GA (March 24, 2022) – On Wednesday afternoon, March 23, a rollover crash with injuries took place on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of I-85. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. One of the vehicles was struck with such force that it overturned against a median wall. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Several emergency responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several parties sustained injuries in the accident, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic for some time. Police urged those in the area to use alternate routes until the scene was cleared.
