Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Serious Rollover Accident on I-20
Atlanta, GA (August 18, 2022) – Several parties allegedly sustained injuries in a car accident that took place on a highway in Atlanta on Thursday morning, August 18.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at 6 a.m. on I-20. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the westbound lanes of traffic when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known during rush hour times. One of the vehicles overturned as a result of the crash, causing extensive damage to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were treated at the scene and then rushed to local hospitals for further treatment.
The roadway was blocked in most westbound lanes of traffic for an extended period of time after the accident. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
