Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Car Crash on I-85 Near N Druid Hills Rd
Atlanta, GA (December 29, 2021) – At 8:21 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, December 29, a car crash with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of North Druid Hills Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other in the northbound lanes due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
