Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Car Crash on I-75 Near Freedom Pkwy
Atlanta, GA (January 8, 2022) – At 6 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, January 8, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
Atlanta Police confirmed that the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Freedom Parkway, exit 248. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, one lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
