Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Car Accident on I-75 at I-85 in Fulton Co
Atlanta, GA (May 8, 2021) – Late on Saturday evening, May 8, authorities assisted at the scene of a multi-car crash that occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
The accident took place around midnight when multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 around the area of I-85 northbound.
Law enforcement officials, fire crews, and paramedics were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known. Paramedics did not confirm how many were transported to the hospital.
Due to the severity of the collision, all lanes of traffic were blocked on I-75 for an extended period of time. No further details have been provided but the investigation is ongoing.
