Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Car Accident in WB Lanes of I-20
Atlanta, GA (October 30, 2021) – At 11:35 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, October 30, a car accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Lowery Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police released a red alert in the area, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
