Atlanta, GA – I-75 Site of Truck Accident at Hwy 54 Near Morrow
Atlanta, GA (December 25, 2021) – At 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, December 25, a truck accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Highway 54 near Morrow. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it collided with a passenger vehicle in the right lanes.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the collision, a red alert was issued in the area for some time. All lanes were blocked until police cleared the scene.
